Seal Your Asphalt,Improve the curb appeal of your home fast!

Tis the summer season 2021!

Summer is almost here and it’s time to beautify the exterior of your home!

Sure painting the exterior helps, cleaning up the garden, cutting the grass etc…There is something that makes an even bigger impact on the curb appeal of your home and that is your asphalt driveway. Ignoring your asphalt driveway, will cost you in the end! Sealing is a very important maintenance step to keep the asphalt in good condition. It’s cosmetic for sure, however if done properly and once a year, you will add years to your face, wait, your driveway!

Patching and sealing replenishes the binder lost through weather, aging, and the weight of cars rolling over the weakened pavement as it ages. This process provides a barrier to moisture intrusion, rainwater, snow, frozen ground,  ultraviolet rays, chemicals, and salt. The process will enhance the curb appeal of your home or business. Severely damaged pavement requires patching using GatorPave. GatorPave is a polymer-modified, fiber reinforced asphalt emulsion fortified with aggregate. A scheduled program of pavement maintenance that included sealcoating and crack filling will more than double the life of your asphalt pavement and provide maximum curb appeal. Sealcoating and crack filling is a fraction of the cost of repairing or replacing asphalt pavement. Cracks, typically referred to as “alligator cracks”, since they look like the back of an alligator, spread across the driveway, weakening the asphalt. Pot holes will begin to appear, and the driveway will shift and move, becoming uneven. Alligator Cracks in the driveway

Gator Crack supplied by Seal Master is a favorite of ours.

NOTE: Beware of the drive-up trucks with a tank of sealer! They water down the product and you do not get the full strength of sealer. This will not help you driveway, and you will spend twice as much calling them back because your driveway lost it’s intense black color within weeks of the application.
